Free Fonts!

Share

I don't have any layouts to share with you this week, so I thought I would share some of my favourite places to download free fonts!
You have to check the TOU's as some are for personal use only but they can really add that paper scrapped look to a page. Without further ado, here is my list of favourite font places.
  • I'm doing project 365 and have been on the hunt for some decent handwriting fonts. Kevin and Amanda at Fonts for Peas have a huge selection! And you download load them all in one go if you want to. Here's one for my fellow CT friend JohannaL.
  • 1001 fonts is also great and you can search their huge catalogue by theme which makes life a lot easier if you're in a hurry. My favourite is 1942 Report as it is a gorgeous slightly grungy typewriter font.
  • Akiyoku's Fonts is another great font website with the added bonus that you can see them all on one screen, without having to scroll through endless pages. LOL! My favourite here is SignPainter HouseScript and the one I use the most.
  • And last but not least, the one that most scrappers know about DaFont.com I warn you, like 1001 Fonts it's a huge site and you had better grab a drink before you start! My favourite here is Learning Curve which is also available as a dotted font. Ideal for my DD who starts school in September. She can just draw over the dots and write like a 'Big Girl'!
Let us know you're favourite font sites and check back later for an awesome post from our esteemed CT leader Sarah.
Have fun,
Sugar'nSpice
